What to expect
Shape
Old polish is removed, and nails are cut and shaped the way you like them.
Soak and soften
Hands or feet soak in warm water to soften the skin and cuticles.
Cuticle care
Cuticles are gently pushed back and tidied.
Scrub
A scrub smooths rough skin. In a pedicure, the heels get extra attention.
Massage and finish
A relaxing massage with a moisturising cream, and nails buffed neat.

What's included
Both treatments include nail cutting and shaping, a warm soak, cuticle care, a scrub and a massage. A pedicure also looks after rough heels.
How long it lasts
Most clients book every three to four weeks. Moisturising every day, and wearing gloves for housework, keeps the results longer.
Before you come
- Come with bare nails if you can; it saves time.
- Tell me about any cuts or infections, or if you are diabetic, so the treatment can be adjusted.

Hygiene & products
- Metal tools cleaned and sanitised after every client.
- Single-use files and buffers.
- A fresh towel for every client, and the foot tub cleaned after each use.
Aftercare
- Moisturise hands and feet every night.
- Wear gloves for washing up and cleaning.
- Keep nails short and filed so they do not catch and break.
- Keep your feet clean and dry, especially between the toes.
