My story
Some dreams start very early. Mine did. I’m Pooja Kothari, and as a little girl I already knew I wanted something of my own: a place I built with my own hands, where my work would speak for me.
I studied commerce and completed my TY B.Com. Then life moved on, the way it does for so many of us: marriage, a home, a family to care for. The dream never left me. Along the way, I trained in beauty and parlour work and earned my certification.
In 2026, with my family standing firmly behind me, that dream finally came true. I opened my own studio in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, and named it D&S Beauty Care, after my two daughters.
By God’s grace, those two lovely girls are my biggest reason. This work gives me an income of my own, and the pride of supporting my family with it. I hope they grow up seeing that a woman’s dream is worth waiting for, and worth working for.
Elegance begins with Self Care. Those words are personal to me. So many women give their time to everyone else first. When you come to me, that hour is yours. I see one client at a time, keep every tool clean and every price listed, and when the studio is too far, I come to your home. I would love to meet you.

How I work
The same routine for every client, at the studio and at home.

- Spatulas and wax strips used once, then thrown away
- A fresh towel and sheet for every client
- Hands sanitised before I begin
Products I use: VLCC, Lotus and O3+ kits, and Rica, cream or normal wax.
